Job Title: Data Scientist – Azure Generative AI (GenAI) 

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Data Scientist with hands-on experience in Azure AI services, particularly Azure OpenAI and Generative AI technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and cloud-based AI solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying intelligent solutions that leverage large language models (LLMs) and generative AI capabilities to solve complex business problems. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design and implement machine learning and generative AI models using Azure OpenAI and related services. 

• Develop and fine-tune LLM-based solutions for tasks such as summarization, classification, Q&A, and content generation. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into AI-driven solutions. 

• Build and deploy scalable AI pipelines using Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services. 

• Evaluate model performance, conduct A/B testing, and optimize for accuracy, latency, and cost. 

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in GenAI, LLMs, and Azure AI ecosystem. 

• Ensure responsible AI practices, including fairness, transparency, and data privacy. 

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field. 

• 3+ years of experience in data science or machine learning roles. 

• Proven experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Cognitive Services. 

• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). 

• Experience with NLP techniques and working with LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA). 

• Familiarity with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and model deployment on Azure. 

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with vector databases (e.g., Azure AI Search, FAISS). 

• Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools (e.g., MLflow, Azure DevOps). 

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI). 

• Certifications in Azure AI or Data Science.
