ServiceNow Developer provides configuration and customization, including but not limited to screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, LDAP integration, service catalog creation and maintenance, custom scripting, REST API development and integration, and third-party software integrations.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Develop ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, Web Services, MySQL, XML, HTML, and CSS.
- Create, configure, and maintain Service Catalog items, record producers, catalog workflows, variables, catalog client scripts, and associated fulfillment processes.
- Design and implement integrations using REST APIs, Web Services, and other integration technologies.
- Develop and maintain custom scripts, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and workflow scripts.
- Configure Management Database (CMDB) functionality and related processes.
- Demonstrate strong mathematical and analytical skills, along with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Analyze system performance issues and determine appropriate performance enhancements.
- Administer the Knowledge Base and Service Catalog.
- Configure out-of-the-box workflows and create, maintain, and troubleshoot custom workflows.
- Configure application-related fields, forms, views, email notifications, acceptance roles, and access controls.
- Integrate ServiceNow applications with third-party systems and applications using REST APIs, Web Services, and other appropriate interfaces.
- Provide technical input for preparing and updating documentation, including user manuals and integration, configuration, and support documentation.
