- BE / B-Tech / M-Tech (Computer Science / IT) / MCA or equivalent.
Desirable: Microsoft Power BI Certification or any other relevant data analytics certification. - Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in the IT sector/industry, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and data visualization.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Build efficient data models, write complex DAX expressions, and perform data transformation using Power Query.
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources using ETL processes.
- Work with SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server. Integrate data from multiple sources, including REST APIs, and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Perform data analysis using Excel and implement report and dashboard optimization techniques.
- Use Git for version control and collaborate effectively within development teams.
- Troubleshoot data, reporting, and performance-related issues and provide effective solutions.
- Work independently while collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective BI solutions.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Power BI (Desktop & Service), including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and report/dashboard development
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases (Oracle / SQL Server or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
- Working knowledge of Excel, Data Analysis, and report optimization techniques
- Experience with REST APIs and integrating data from multiple sources
- Familiarity with version control tools such as GIT
- Sound analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and interact with business stakeholders
- Primary skills: Power BI – Desktop & Service, DAX, Power Query, Power BI Data Modeling, SQL / PL/SQL, Oracle / SQL Server, ETL / Data Transformation, Power BI Report & Dashboard Development
