Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using best practices and methodologies.
• Utilize Essbase for data modeling, reporting, and analysis to support business intelligence initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality.
• Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues, implementing effective solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance software development processes.
• Participate in project planning and estimation activities, contributing to the overall project success.
• Document software designs, processes, and procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Essbase, including data modeling, calculation scripts, and report generation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Solid understanding of database management systems and SQL.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in software development or Essbase are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
