Skills and Competencies

  • 0-2 years’ experience in credit/financial data analysis and interpretation with knowledge of capital markets; experience in Structured Finance preferred
  • Skilled in identifying key credit risk factors and applying relevant credit methodologies to support analysis and decision-making
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized, with a proven ability to excel in team-driven environments

    Education

    • Masters degree in Finance, Economics, or Business/Accounting from premier institute or qualified CA with 2+ yrs of experience
    • CFA/ FRM preferred

      Responsibilities

      • Independently deliver complex credit assessments, including loss given default, speculative-grade liquidity, and credit estimates, producing high-quality credit opinions
      • Apply Moody’s ratings methodologies to create adjusted data, key indicators, ratios, charts, and graphs that enhance ratings and research accuracy
      • Perform complex data validation, scrubbing, and analysis and review of financial reports and official statements to assess issuer performance
      • Partner with analysts and accounting specialists to apply relevant accounting concepts and capture accurate data for ratings
      • Lead projects, drive process enhancements, and review junior team members’ work to maintain quality standards
