About the Role
We at Clear are currently seeking Chartered Accountants for the Customer Success Team for the South
region. We are specifically hiring for a client-facing role as an Assistant Manager in the Taxation team
within the Customer Success Department.

Key Responsibilities

● End-to-End Enterprise Account Management: Own and manage the entire customer lifecycle
for Large and Very Large Corporate (LC & VLC) clients. You will drive onboarding, strategic
planning, implementation, seamless deployment, and ongoing product usage.

● Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted financial technologist. Proactively initiate
and maintain relationships with senior executives (CFOs, Heads of Tax, VPs of Finance) to
deeply understand their regulatory challenges and strategic goals.

● Go-Live & Implementation Readiness: Provide support during critical deployment phases.
Conduct on-site customer visits 2-3 days prior to go-live to assess system readiness, mitigate
risks, and ensure a smooth transition during their first usage.

● Expert Problem Solving (Tax & Tech): Leverage your CA expertise to resolve complex client
challenges using our product. You will guide enterprises through intricate issues related to GST
compliance, e-invoicing mandates, ERP integration, and Max ITC (Input Tax Credit)
optimization.

● Product Innovation & SME Contribution: Serve as an internal Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Collaborate closely with our software engineering and product teams, translating client feedback
and complex tax regulations into continuous product feature improvements.

What We Are Looking For

● Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1-3 years of experience in Indirect taxation

● Domain Expertise: Deep, practical understanding of Indian tax laws, specifically GST
regulations, e-invoicing workflows, ITC reconciliation, and financial compliance.

● Communication Skills: Exceptional executive presence with the ability to translate complex
financial and technical concepts into clear, actionable advice for senior leadership.

● Problem-Solver: Proactive, empathetic, and highly analytical, with a passion for helping
businesses run more efficiently.
