QA Engineer – Manual/Functional Testing
Designation:

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong experience in Manual and Functional Testing to support quality assurance activities across business-critical applications. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a quality-first mindset. Exposure to ETL testing, Banking domain, and Automation Testing will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Manual and Functional Testing for enterprise applications.
- Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute test cases, identify defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform regression, system, integration, and UAT testing as required.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Provide regular testing status updates and maintain test documentation.
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes and testing practices.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong experience in Manual and Functional Testing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience in test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Banking domain knowledge.
- ETL testing knowledge.
- Exposure to Automation Testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and practices.
