Are you passionate about connecting talented people with meaningful careers? At Amazon, our recruiting team plays a critical role in shaping the future of the company by identifying and hiring exceptional talent across a wide range of roles. As a Full Lifecycle Recruiter I, you will manage the end-to-end recruiting process — from sourcing and engaging candidates to preparing them for interviews and closing offers. You will partner with hiring teams to understand their needs, build strong candidate pipelines, and deliver a positive experience for every person who interacts with Amazon during the hiring process.
This is a role for someone who is curious, resourceful, and motivated by the challenge of finding the right person for the right opportunity. You will use data-driven sourcing strategies, creative outreach methods, and your growing knowledge of Amazon’s culture to attract qualified candidates efficiently. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building relationships with both candidates and internal partners, we want to hear from you.
Key job responsibilities
– Source and engage candidates using internal and external tools, Boolean search logic, and multiple sourcing channels to build high-quality, unbiased candidate pipelines aligned with hiring team goals and service-level expectations.
– Conduct thorough pre-screens to assess candidate qualifications, compensation expectations, skill level, and availability, while clearly communicating the interview process and setting accurate expectations on leveling and compensation.
– Coach candidates on behavioral interviewing techniques and the overall interview process to ensure they are well-prepared, creating a consistently positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
– Partner with hiring managers and recruiting team members to calibrate candidate profiles, share pipeline insights, and surface blockers or process improvement opportunities that strengthen hiring effectiveness.
– Leverage recruiting data and reporting mechanisms to track candidate funnel quality, measure sourcing project outcomes, and maintain data integrity across all recruiting systems and documentation.
A day in the life
You will start your morning reviewing your candidate pipeline, following up with prospects, and scheduling pre-screen calls. Throughout the day, you will connect with candidates to learn about their backgrounds, walk them through what to expect from Amazon’s interview process, and help them put their best foot forward. You will also join intake meetings with hiring managers, collaborate with your recruiting team on sourcing strategies, and update candidate records to keep your data clean and actionable.
