Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on Power BI, Data Modeling, Fabric, and SQL. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality software solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of data visualization and analytics, as well as the capability to design and implement robust data models that drive business insights.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and optimize data models using Power BI, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Utilize SQL to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI.
• Implement best practices for data visualization and reporting, ensuring clarity and usability of dashboards.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing recommendations based on findings.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and visualization.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members as needed.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Power BI, including report creation, data modeling, and dashboard development.
• Proficient in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• Experience with Power BI Fabric and its integration with various data sources.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with other data visualization tools and technologies.
• Experience in data warehousing concepts and practices.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and services related to data analytics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Power BI or data analytics are a plus.
