MAKE AN IMPACT
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Develop automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications and Appium for Android/iOS mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and cross-browser/device testing.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Develop reusable automation components and improve test framework scalability and maintainability.
- Perform API testing and automation using tools/frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, Playwright API, or equivalent.
- Analyze test failures, application logs, and defects to identify root causes.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, and QA engineers throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, test strategy, and automation coverage discussions.
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, execution time, reliability, and overall product quality.
- Track defects and testing activities using tools such as JIRA/Azure DevOps.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure automation code follows development and engineering best practices.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in QA Automation / SDET / Software Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for web/UI automation.
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python, with preference for JavaScript/TypeScript when using Playwright.
- Good understanding of Android and iOS application testing.
- Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing.
- Strong knowledge of automation framework design, including Page Object Model (POM) and reusable test components.
- Experience with API testing and automation.
- Experience with version-control systems such as Git.
- Hands-on experience integrating automation tests with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, defect lifecycle, and testing methodologies.
- Good debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause-analysis skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
