Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Multi-Purpose Technician to join our team in Visakhapatnam, India. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of equipment and systems across our facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely. You will work independently and collaboratively to address maintenance needs, perform preventive maintenance, and support the smooth operation of our organization.

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions using appropriate diagnostic tools and troubleshoot issues efficiently
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair calls
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety protocols and organizational standards
• Operate and maintain various tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment optimization
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in equipment maintenance, repair, or facility management
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Solid understanding of preventive maintenance principles and practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and maintenance documentation
• Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant technical certifications or licenses (preferred)
• Experience with equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting (preferred)
