Amazon hiring for Software Dev Engineer, WWGST Grocery operator experience

Amazon is looking for a Software Development Engineer who is passionate, innovative and have a heart for Nourishing People and the Planet. You will be working on designing and developing long term, scalable and high-impact programs within the Worldwide Grocery Stores Tech (WWGST) organization.

You will design, develop, and deploy reliable distributed solutions at Amazon scale, working with core technologies including Java, Linux, and AWS services. Collaboration with teams across Amazon and Whole Foods Market will be essential as you help redefine the industry. The ideal candidate excels in ambiguous environments, builds high-risk components first, and maintains focus on architectural goals while delivering incremental launches. Basic Qualifications

– 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
– 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
– Experience programming with at least one software programming language
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

– 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
