Job Description

Brookfield’s Data Governance Program was established to create a high-quality single source of truth for fundamental business data across transactions, investments, properties, underwriting metrics, capital pools, and other areas. The Analyst, Data Quality Control (QC) will play a critical role in supporting this program by reviewing data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, and by documenting and escalating issues in real time. The Analyst will collaborate with global stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and contribute to the overall improvement of Brookfield’s data processes. Initially, the role will focus on data quality review and compliance checks. Over time, as the Analyst develops deeper expertise in Brookfield’s data model and investment processes, responsibilities may expand to include data entry and enrichment from unstructured sources such as investment committee memos and financial models. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented professional to gain exposure to Brookfield’s global businesses while contributing to a high-profile enterprise initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • · Review transaction, investment, and property data to ensure compliance with the data model, business process flows, and system requirements.
  • · Perform real-time quality checks to validate data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across systems and source documents.
  • · Document issues in detailed logs, capturing descriptions, potential root causes, and supporting evidence.
  • · Collaborate with global investment professionals and other teams to resolve errors, omissions, and inconsistencies.
  • · Support system testing and provide feedback to improve functionality and data validation processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • · Undergraduate degree required.
  • · 2-5 years of professional experience in data quality, data governance, business process, financial services, or related fields; exposure to the real estate industry is a plus.
  • · Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • · Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and inconsistencies.
  • · Good oral and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with global stakeholders.
  • · Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • · Team-oriented with a commitment to collective success.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams; ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes
