CACTUS is a remote-first organization and we embrace an accelerate from anywhere culture. You may be required to travel to our Mumbai office based on business requirements or for company/team events.
The Editage team is looking for a Product Design Intern to work on our websites and CRM dashboard. You’ll gain hands-on experience in web, UI/UX, and visual design, including creating graphical abstracts and other digital assets for academic and research audiences. This 6-month internship offers an opportunity to learn, collaborate with experienced designers, and contribute to impactful digital experiences.
Note: Candidates based in Mumbai will be preferred.
Responsibilities
Assist team with design tasks, contributing to various stages of the design process.
Learn and master design tools and software to enhance your skill set.
Execute simple design projects under the supervision of experienced designers.
Support the design team in creating and improving user experiences across Editage websites and CRM platforms.
Use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create, edit, and refine graphics and visual assets.
Qualifications and Prerequisites
Proficiency in Figma, with a willingness to expand knowledge and capabilities.
Proficiency in Adobe illustrator and photoshop.
Design Portfolio is mandatory.
Understanding of design principles, including typography, colour theory, and layout
Eagerness to learn, strong attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
