Specialist, Infrastructure Engineering

About your role:
As an Infrastructure Engineering – Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and optimization of infrastructure systems that are critical to Fiserv’s operations and growth. Leading a team of dedicated professionals, you will tackle complex infrastructure challenges and ensure seamless integration and performance of various systems. Your leadership and expertise will drive innovative solutions, supporting our clients and contributing significantly to our overall business success.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust infrastructure solutions to meet organizational needs.

• Optimize infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure architecture with enterprise goals.

• Conduct regular system audits and provide recommendations for upgrades and improvements.

• Stay updated with the latest infrastructure technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement.

Experience you’ll need to have:

• 4+ years of experience in infrastructure design and management

• 2+ years of experience with network management

• 2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• 2+ years of experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

• 2+ years of experience in performance tuning and optimization

• 2+ years of experience in infrastructure security

• 2+ years of experience in data integration and ETL processes

• 4+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience with DevOps practices

• Understanding of automation scripting for infrastructure management

• Experience in infrastructure scaling technologies
