Job Description: SOC Analyst Position OverviewLooking for experienced SOC Analyst to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team. The SOC Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity threats, ensuring the protection of our organization’s information assets. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and experience with security tools and incident response.Key Responsibilities• Monitor security alerts and events from various security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection, etc.)• Analyze and investigate security incidents to determine their nature and severity• Perform triage, escalation, and incident response activities in accordance with established procedures• Collaborate with IT and security teams to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities• Maintain and update documentation related to security incidents, processes, and procedures• Conduct threat hunting and proactive security monitoring to identify potential risks• Participate in security audits and compliance activities as needed• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologiesSkill Set• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, attack vectors, and threat landscape• Proficiency in using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight)• Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions• Ability to analyze logs, network traffic, and system alerts to identify suspicious activity• Familiarity with incident response frameworks and methodologies• Basic scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and investigation• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills• Strong communication skills for reporting and collabor
