Job Description
Sia is looking for a DevOps Engineer to support the development of the Data Science Business Line in our new office in Mumbai.Â
Your main responsibilities will include:Â Â
- Participation in our consulting assignments with our clients  Â
- Development of our Software-as-a-Service products from Heka.ai Â
- Support to Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Software Engineers in projects with a strong Data component:Â Â
- Cloud services: architecture, storage & computing services, costs monitoring & optimization, access level management Â
- Containers: containerization & orchestration of applications, K8 cluster management adapted to data workloads Â
- Python programming: development of tools executed on the server (automation scripts, microservices, etc.)Â Â
- CI/CD: integration and continuous deployment of applications Â
- Contribution to technological, architectural and governance choices to address the challenges of scaling Data projects Â
Qualifications
- Engineering background with 4+ years of relevant experience in DevOps EngineeringÂ
- Mastery of Python, for back-end projects – another programming language is a plus Â
- Mastery of a containerization solution such as Docker, and at least one container orchestration tool Â
- Experience with the services of a cloud provider (AWS, GCP or Azure)Â Â
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools as Terraform is a plus Â
- Mastery of CI/CD techniques and tools (pipeline automation, Docker, Kubernetes…)Â Â
- Fluency in English (written + oral)Â
