Work Flexibility: Hybrid or Onsite

We are seeking a Software Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in embedded software development to help design and develop next-generation medical devices and connected healthcare solutions.

The role involves developing embedded software, enabling device connectivity, and supporting integration between medical devices, mobile applications, and cloud-based systems. The engineer will contribute throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept development through verification, validation, and product launch.

We are looking for an engineer with strong technical fundamentals, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for learning and innovation. The ideal candidate demonstrates ownership, curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software for medical devices.

  • Support development of connectivity solutions including device-to-device, device-to-mobile, and device-to-cloud communication.

  • Translate product, user, and system needs into software requirements and technical solutions.

  • Perform software design, implementation, debugging, verification, and validation activities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Systems, Electrical, Quality, Regulatory, Digital, and Manufacturing.

  • Support new product development, product enhancements, and engineering change activities.

  • Contribute to software quality, reliability, cybersecurity, and compliance activities.

  • Participate in technical reviews, problem-solving activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.

  • 2-4 years of experience in embedded software development.

  • Strong programming skills in C/C++.

  • Experience with microcontroller-based systems and embedded software design.

  • Experience with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, or BLE.

  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ARM-based microcontrollers and RTOS environments.

  • Experience with connected devices, wireless communication, or cloud-connected systems.

  • Experience with BLE, Wi-Fi, MQTT, TCP/IP, mobile application integration, or IoT solutions.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and secure software development.

  • Exposure to regulated product development environments such as Medical Devices, Industrial Automation, Automotive, Aerospace, or Consumer Electronics.

What We Are Looking For

More than specific technologies, we are looking for individuals who demonstrate:

  • Strong problem-solving aptitude

  • Innovative and creative thinking

  • Curiosity and learning agility

  • Ownership and accountability

  • Adaptability to new challenges and technologies

  • Ability to work effectively across disciplines

  • A positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented attitude

The ideal candidate is excited by difficult technical challenges, comfortable working with ambiguity, and motivated to help build the future of connected medical devices and digital healthcare solutions.
