We are seeking a skilled and motivated Test Automation Engineer to contribute to the development and enhancement of Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Python, Robot Framework, and CI/CD practices, with hands-on exposure to Jenkins and security tools integration. This role is crucial for ensuring high-quality and reliable software delivery through robust automation.
Job Description: 1. Contribute to the development and enhancement of Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing frameworks. 2. Design and develop scalable SIL frameworks to support automated validation activities. 3. Build, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for various software components. 4. Ensure the delivery of high-quality and reliable software through robust testing methodologies. 5. Integrate test results into centralized dashboards for comprehensive visibility and reporting. 6. Enable traceability of test outcomes across different development cycles. 7. Implement and optimize parallel test execution to enhance testing efficiency and reduce turnaround time. 8. Set up and configure CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery. 9. Automate pipeline processes and integrate security tools within the CI/CD framework. 10. Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and improve test coverage.
Skills and Qualifications: – 1-3 years of experience in test automation, with a focus on Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing. – Strong proficiency in Python programming for test script development. – Hands-on experience with Robot Framework for test automation. – Solid understanding and practical application of CI/CD practices. – Demonstrated experience with Jenkins for pipeline setup, optimization, and automation. – Exposure to integrating security tools within testing or CI/CD processes. – Ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks. – Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. – Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
