Position description: Jindal Ferrous Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Central Quality Assurance – IMS department. The role involves overseeing and enhancing quality management systems within the mining and metals sector, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, and implementing robust quality assurance processes to support operational excellence and product integrity. This position demands a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities to uphold the company’s commitment to quality and safety in a dynamic industrial environment.

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Develop, implement, and maintain Integrated Management Systems (IMS) aligned with ISO standards and industry best practices specific to mining and metals operations.
• Lead quality assurance audits, both internal and external, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement in production and operational processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, and safety to drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and continuous improvement projects.
• Manage documentation control and ensure all quality records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company policies and industry regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members and stakeholders on quality standards, IMS procedures, and best practices.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality standards are met throughout the supply chain.
• Support management in risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to quality and compliance.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on quality performance, audit findings, and improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the mining and metals industry to proactively adapt quality systems.
