REPORTS TO Engineering Manager – Life Cycle Management

JOB PURPOSE As an Engineer your primary responsibility is to support the R&D efforts of 

the organization by conducting benchmarking, Teardown, and data analysis 

activities while learning best practices for product sustenance. You will assist 

senior staff in gathering and analyzing data to identify cost-saving 

opportunities, Quality Improvement and Sustenance of product

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ➢ Perform benchmarking of competitor products to identify 

improvement opportunities. Assist in compiling benchmarking data 

and preparing comparison reports. Support senior staff in defining 

key benchmarking parameters

➢ Create 3D CAD models of selected concepts and prepare 

development drawing using CREO software

➢ Coordinate the prototype development activities and submit 

Validation requests

➢ Coordinate the data gathering and full Kit readiness as per ECR/ECN

➢ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet 

technical, functional, and production requirements. 

➢ Assist in design reviews and provide technical support throughout 

the product development lifecycle.

➢ Participate in troubleshooting and resolve design-related issues 

during the manufacturing process

➢ Travel to manufacturing locations for engineering activities as per 

CMF, VAVE and quality improvement projects timeline
